여러분 안녕하세요, 리빙 라이프에 오신 것을 환영합니다.

 

Beauty can be very subjective

one person finds it beautiful for another person it cannot be so beautiful.
아름다움은 매우 주관적일 수 있어서, 어떤 사람에게 아름다운 것이 다른 사람에게는 그렇지 않을 수 있습니다.

So for example the beauty can be so standard of beauty can be so different according to their country and the culture and also the time.
예를 들어, 아름다움의 기준은 나라와 문화, 그리고 시대에 따라 매우 다를 수 있습니다.

In ancient China for example the woman with a small feet was considered to be beautiful.
예를 들어, 고대 중국에서는 발이 작은 여성이 아름답다고 여겨졌습니다.

So that's why many ladies in old China they used to force themselves to wear those small shoes so they can be beautiful
그래서 옛 중국의 많은 여성들이 아름답게 보이기 위해 일부러 작은 신발을 신었습니다.

In the same way beauty can be so contrary compared to the culture and the time.
이와 같이, 아름다움은 문화와 시대에 따라 전혀 다르게 여겨질 수 있습니다.

Well in today's text in Isziko chapter 16 God calls Jerusalem beautiful

and let's go into today's text why God calls Jerusalem as a beautiful lady.
오늘 본문인 에스겔 16장에서 하나님은 예루살렘을 아름답다고 부르십니다.

오늘 말씀을 통해 하나님이 왜 예루살렘을 아름다운 여인으로 부르셨는지 살펴보겠습니다.

Let's go to today's text
그럼 오늘의 말씀으로 들어가 보겠습니다.

 

 

Becoming Beautiful

 

 

Ezekiel Chapter sixteen verses one to fourteen.
에스겔서 16장 1절부터 14절까지.

1 The word of the Lord came to me: 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하였다: 2 “Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her detestable practices and say, “인자여, 예루살렘에게 그녀의 끔찍한 행실을 알리고 말하라, 3 ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Jerusalem: Your ancestry and birth were in the land of the Canaanites; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite. ‘이는 주권자 여호와께서 예루살렘에게 하신 말씀이다: 네 조상과 탄생은 가나안 땅에 있었으며, 네 아버지는 아모리 사람이고 네 어머니는 헷 사람이다. 4 On the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to make you clean, nor were you rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths. 네가 태어난 날에 탯줄은 잘리지 않았고, 깨끗하게 할 물로 씻기지도 않았으며, 소금으로 문질러지지도 않았고 천에 싸이지도 않았다. 5 No one looked on you with pity or had compassion enough to do any of these things for you. Rather, you were thrown out into the open field, for on the day you were born you were despised. 아무도 불쌍히 여겨 너를 그렇게 돌보지 않았고, 오히려 네가 태어난 날 경멸을 받아 벌거벗고 들판에 내던져졌다. 6 Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, “Live!” 그러나 내가 지나가는 중에 피 흘리며 몸부림치는 너를 보고, 피 흐르는 가운데 누워 있는 너에게 “살아라!”라고 말씀하였다. 7 I made you grow like a plant of the field. You grew and developed and entered puberty. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, yet you were stark naked. 내가 너를 들의 식물처럼 자라게 하여 성장하고 사춘기에 이르게 하였으며, 가슴이 이루어지고 머리카락이 자랐지만 너는 완전히 벌거벗은 상태였다. 8 Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine. 그 후 내가 다시 지나가며 너를 보았는데, 사랑 받을 수 있는 나이가 되었기에 내 겉옷 자락으로 너를 덮어 너의 벌거벗은 몸을 가렸고, 엄숙한 맹세를 주어 언약을 맺었으며, 너는 내 것이 되었다고 주권자 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. 9 I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you. 내가 물로 너를 목욕시키고 네 피를 씻어내며 기름을 발라 주었다. 10 I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with costly garments. 수놓은 옷을 입히고 정교한 가죽 신을 신겼으며, 가는 배옷을 입히고 값비싼 옷으로 너를 덮었다. 11 I adorned you with jewelry: I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace around your neck, 팔에는 팔찌를, 목에는 목걸이를 걸어 장식하였다. 12 and I put a ring on your nose, earrings on your ears and a beautiful crown on your head. 코에는 반지를, 귀에는 귀고리를, 머리에 아름다운 왕관을 씌워 주었다. 13 So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen. 금과 은으로 장식되었고, 옷은 가는 배옷과 값비싼 직물 및 수놓은 천으로 이루어졌으며, 음식은 꿀, 올리브 기름, 최고의 밀가루였다. 너는 매우 아름답게 되어 여왕이 되었다. 14 And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord. 그 아름다움 때문에 네 명성이 여러 나라에 퍼졌으며, 내가 준 광채가 너의 아름다움을 완전하게 했다고 주권자 여호와께서 선언하셨다.

 

 

In today's verse 1 God calls Prophet Zikio to proclaim God's message to Jerusalem.
오늘 1절에서 하나님은 선지자 에스겔을 불러 예루살렘에 하나님의 메시지를 선포하게 하십니다.

Now as we remember Zikiot is in the Babylon and since he's in Babylon with his captives brothers and sisters of Jew he cannot actually proclaim his message and physically go to Jerusalem and share this message.
우리가 기억하듯, 에스겔은 바빌론에 있으며, 그곳에서 포로로 잡혀 온 유대 형제자매들과 함께 있었기에 실제로 예루살렘에 가서 직접 메시지를 전할 수 없었습니다.

So that means that in the Bible many times that we see God uses metaphorically that Jerusalem is God's beloved people.
이것은 성경에서 종종 예루살렘을 하나님의 사랑받는 백성으로 비유적으로 사용한다는 의미입니다.

So God wants to share the message to Jerusalem which means his beloved people which are in captive in Babylon.
그래서 하나님은 바빌론에 포로로 잡혀 있는 사랑하는 백성, 즉 예루살렘에게 메시지를 전하고자 하십니다.

So God has a message for his own people his beloved people that that message The message is that in the Jerusalem in verse 3 says that you are in the land of Canon and you are ANC you are a descendants of Hitites and Amerites.
하나님께서 자기 백성, 사랑하는 백성에게 주신 메시지는 3절에 나옵니다. “너는 가나안 땅에 있으며, 헷 사람과 아모리 사람의 후손이다”라는 말씀입니다.

Well of course geographically Jerusalem was in the land of Kena when before they conquered the land the promise land but
물론 지리적으로 예루살렘은 약속의 땅을 정복하기 전 가나안 땅에 있었습니다.

the ethnically they're not actually the descendants of Amorites or Hatites.
그러나 민족적으로 그들은 아모리인이나 헷 사람의 실제 후손은 아닙니다.

Well the Amirites and Hatites are the tribe who used to live in the land of Khon were a very predominant very predominant tribe which they were deeply worshipping the idols.
아모리인과 헷 사람은 가나안 땅에 살던 주요 부족으로, 우상 숭배에 깊이 빠져 있던 사람들이었습니다.

So they are like one of the one of the the leaders of idol worship in the land of Khan and God is saying Jerusalem you are the descendant of Hitait Amerite meaning spiritually they gone so far off from the Lord
그들은 가나안 땅에서 우상 숭배를 주도한 부족이었고, 하나님은 예루살렘을 헷 사람과 아모리 사람의 자손이라고 말씀하시며, 영적으로 하나님에게서 멀리 떠났음을 의미하십니다.

that they have been the descendants of people who actually IDLE worship.
즉, 실제로 우상 숭배를 했던 자들의 후손과 같다는 뜻입니다.

He's saying that he spiritually they are like a gentile nations and when God chose them they were that weak people they are that small people.
하나님은 영적으로 그들이 이방 민족과 같다고 말씀하시며, 하나님이 그들을 선택하셨을 때 그들은 매우 연약하고 작디작은 민족이었다고 말씀하십니다.

So in the Bible says the reason why God chose the Israelis is not because they're a great nation it's rather because they are weak people and they're people of stiff neck I says and in today's text we see God picked and God chose the Israelite
성경은 하나님께서 이스라엘을 선택하신 이유가 그들이 위대한 민족이어서가 아니라, 오히려 연약하고 목이 곧은 백성이었기 때문이라고 말합니다. 오늘 본문에서도 하나님이 이스라엘을 택하셨음을 볼 수 있습니다.

whenever they're really weak and fragile but God picked them up and God nurtured them God raised them up to be a beautiful person.
그들이 매우 연약하고 깨지기 쉬울 때마다 하나님은 그들을 들어 올리시고, 양육하시며, 아름다운 사람으로 키우셨습니다.

And he says in today's text God cloth God gave them the clothing and the jewelry and God was waiting and nurturing the Israeli when they were really young and weak.
오늘 본문에서 하나님은 그들에게 옷과 장신구를 주시고, 이스라엘이 아주 어리고 연약할 때 기다리시며 양육하셨다고 말씀하십니다.

And later on through God's providence that the Jerusalem the Israelites became beautiful woman.
그리고 하나님의 섭리를 통해 예루살렘, 곧 이스라엘은 아름다운 여인이 되었습니다.

 

 

Now we see from today's text the true beauty is what God instills us.
오늘 본문에서 우리는 참된 아름다움이 하나님께서 우리 안에 심어주시는 것임을 봅니다.

When God install us God gives us his beauty to us that's when we can be beautiful.
하나님이 우리 안에 채워 주실 때, 하나님의 아름다움이 우리에게 임하며, 그때 우리가 아름다워질 수 있습니다.

Many times we consider beauty as outside appearance and maybe what we wear or what how we look can be beautiful but no God says when we are called beautiful it's because when God with his blessing with his image because we are created into his image when he instills us that's when we can be beautiful.
우리는 종종 아름다움을 외모나 옷차림에서 찾지만, 하나님은 우리가 아름답다고 불리는 이유는 하나님의 축복과 형상이 우리 안에 있기 때문이라고 말씀하십니다. 우리는 하나님의 형상대로 창조되었고, 하나님이 우리를 채우실 때 비로소 참으로 아름다워질 수 있습니다.

So in today's text we have to remember the true beauty is not because of asside appearance and because what God has instore for us while God created us as an image of God and God has called us to be like the true beauty person which is Jesus Christ The most beautiful person of all time is our Jesus Christ and God has called us to be the image of Jesus Christ when we follow and imitate his image that when we can truly be beauty and beautiful.
그러므로 오늘 본문에서 우리는 참된 아름다움이 외적인 모습에서 나오는 것이 아님을 기억해야 합니다. 하나님은 우리를 하나님의 형상으로 창조하시고, 가장 아름다운 분이신 예수 그리스도의 형상을 닮도록 부르셨습니다. 우리가 그분을 따라가고 그분을 닮을 때, 우리는 참으로 아름다워질 수 있습니다.

 

So today as you meditate
그러므로 오늘 묵상하면서

let us be like Jesus that today will be a day with one step closer to be more like Jesus because our Lord Jesus Christ is the most beautiful ever in the whole history of man.
예수님을 닮아 오늘 하루가 그분께 한 걸음 더 가까이 나아가는 날이 되게 하십시오. 우리 주 예수 그리스도는 인류 역사상 가장 아름다운 분이십니다.

 

 

When have you experienced God's nurturing care?

Many times we want to be beautiful

and we do our best to clothe ourselves or whatever that we want to do outside so we can be beautiful

but we know that true beauty has the true beauty is within us and that true beauty is a perfect beauty.
우리는 종종 아름다워지기 위해 외적으로 옷을 입거나 꾸미는 데 힘쓰지만, 참된 아름다움은 우리 안에 있으며, 그 아름다움은 완전한 아름다움임을 알고 있습니다.

That's why I say verse Fourteen It says I have given you and made your beauty perfect.
그래서 14절에서 “내가 네게 주어 네 아름다움을 완전하게 했다”라고 말씀하십니다.

The beauty that God gives us is a perfect beauty is beauty that's complete that's eternal.
하나님이 주시는 아름다움은 완전하며, 온전하고, 영원한 아름다움입니다.

And let us once again be minded
그러므로 다시금 마음에 새깁시다.

that let us pursue God let us pursue the image of Christ that we may truly obtain this eternal beauty within us.
하나님을 추구하며, 그리스도의 형상을 닮아 우리 안에 이 영원한 아름다움을 얻도록 합시다.

 

 

Let's pray Father our Lord You are beautiful Lord Jesus You are beautiful Lord Lord I pray Lord as we live a day Lord and our actions and our thoughts and our words to be like you Jesus Lord and as we trust that you will pour out your beauty to us Lord help us to go to the source of beauty which is you Lord
기도하겠습니다. 아버지 하나님, 주님은 아름다우십니다. 주 예수님, 주님은 아름다우십니다. 주님, 오늘 하루 우리의 행동과 생각과 말이 예수님을 닮게 하시고, 주님께서 우리에게 아름다움을 부어 주실 것을 믿으며, 참된 아름다움의 근원이신 주님께 나아가게 하옵소서.
and I pray that we will pursue our life Today will pursue to be more like you Lord Jesus or Holy Spirit help us.
그리고 오늘 우리의 삶이 예수님을 더욱 닮아가도록 추구하게 하시며, 성령님 도와주소서.
The Holy Spirit will form us and mold us and break us and make us Lord Lord We give our lives unto you today pray all this in the name of Jesus Amen.
성령께서 우리를 빚으시고, 만들고, 다듬으시고, 새롭게 하소서. 오늘 우리의 삶을 주님께 드리며, 이 모든 말씀을 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.
