In 2010 a mine collapsed in Chile.
2010년 칠레에서 한 광산이 붕괴되었습니다.
Thirty three miners were trapped 700 meters underground.
33명의 광부들이 지하 700미터에 갇혔습니다.
Some of them were strong some had many years of experiences but none of them could save themselves and none of them could carry another person up to safety.
그들 중 일부는 강인했고, 일부는 수년간의 경험이 있었지만, 누구도 스스로를 구할 수 없었고 다른 사람을 안전하게 끌어올릴 수 없었습니다.
They were all stuck but above the ground a special rescue team worked for months.

They built a rescue capsule and sent it down through a narrow tunnel.

There was only one way out only one path and only one person could come out at a time through that capsule.
그곳에서 나올 수 있는 길은 단 하나였고, 단 한 사람씩만 그 캡슐을 통해 나올 수 있었습니다.
At first there was no hope but when help came from outside the men were saved and found safety.
처음에는 희망이 없었지만, 외부에서 도움의 손길이 오자 그들은 구출되어 안전을 되찾았습니다.
This story reminds us of Jesus.
이 이야기는 우리에게 예수님을 떠올리게 합니다.
There are many strong and good people in the world but no one can save another person from sin and death.
세상에는 강하고 선한 사람들이 많지만, 누구도 다른 사람을 죄와 죽음에서 구할 수 없습니다.
Only Jesus can. He is the only way to be saved.
오직 예수님만이 가능합니다. 그분만이 구원의 유일한 길이십니다.
Let's dive into the world of God today and think about the grace of Jesus Christ who is our savior and Lord.
오늘 하나님의 말씀 속으로 들어가, 우리의 구주이자 주님이신 예수 그리스도의 은혜를 생각해 봅시다.
Ezekiel Chapter 14, verses 12 to 23
에스겔 14장 12절에서 23절
| 12 The word of the Lord came to me: 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되 13 Son of man, when a land sins against me by being unfaithful, and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its people and their animals, 인자야, 어떤 땅이 내게 범죄하여 신실하지 않음으로 내가 그 손을 그 위에 펴서 양식을 끊고 그 땅에 기근을 보내어 사람과 짐승을 끊을 때에, 14 even if these three men—Noah, Daniel and Job—were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign Lord. 비록 노아, 다니엘, 욥 이 세 사람이 거기에 있을지라도, 주 여호와의 말씀이니라, 그들은 자기 의로 자기 생명만 구원하리라. 15 Or if I send wild beasts through that land and they kill its people and it becomes desolate so that no one can pass through because of the beasts, 혹은 내가 들짐승을 그 땅에 지나가게 하여 사람을 죽이고 그 땅이 황폐하여짐으로 그 짐승 때문에 사람이 지나다닐 수 없게 될 때에, 16 as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate. 주 여호와의 말씀이니라, 내가 살아 있음을 두고 맹세하노니, 거기에 비록 이 세 사람이 있을지라도, 그들은 자기 아들이나 딸을 건지지 못하고, 오직 자기들만 구원받으리니, 그 땅은 황폐하게 되리라. 17 Or if I bring a sword against that land and say, ‘Let the sword pass throughout the land,’ and I kill its people and their animals, 혹은 내가 그 땅에 칼을 가져와서 이르기를 ‘칼아, 그 땅에 두루 행하라’ 하여 사람과 짐승을 거기서 끊게 할 때에, 18 as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved. 주 여호와의 말씀이니라, 내가 살아 있음을 두고 맹세하노니, 거기에 비록 이 세 사람이 있을지라도, 그들은 자기 아들이나 딸을 건지지 못하고, 오직 자기들만 구원받으리라. 19 Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out my wrath on it through bloodshed, killing its people and their animals, 혹은 내가 전염병을 그 땅에 보내어 그 위에 내 분노를 피로 쏟아 사람과 짐승을 그 가운데서 끊게 할 때에, 20 as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in it, they could save neither son nor daughter. They would save only themselves by their righteousness. 주 여호와의 말씀이니라, 내가 살아 있음을 두고 맹세하노니, 거기에 비록 노아, 다니엘, 욥이 있을지라도, 그들은 아들이나 딸을 건지지 못하고, 자기 의로 자기만 구원하리라. 21 For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments—sword and famine and wild beasts and plague—to kill its men and their animals! 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. 내가 예루살렘에 네 가지 중대한 심판, 곧 칼과 기근과 사나운 짐승과 전염병을 보내어 사람과 짐승을 그 가운데서 끊을 때에는 얼마나 더 심하겠느냐! 22 Yet there will be some survivors—sons and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you, and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought on Jerusalem—every disaster I have brought on it. 그러나 그 가운데에서 피할 자가 남아 아들딸을 데리고 너희에게로 나아오리니, 너희가 그들의 행위와 소행을 볼 때에, 내가 예루살렘에 내린 모든 재앙, 곧 내가 그 위에 내린 모든 재앙에 대하여 너희가 위로를 받을 것이다. 23 You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign Lord. 그들의 행위와 소행을 볼 때에, 너희가 위로를 받을 것이며, 주 여호와의 말씀이니라, 내가 예루살렘에 행한 모든 일이 까닭 없이 한 것이 아님을 너희가 알게 되리라. |
Today's Bible passage from Iszikia Fin tells you about God's judgment.
오늘의 성경 본문은 이스지키아 핀에서 하나님의 심판에 대해 말씀합니다.
God's people had turned away from him so God said he would bring famine wild animals war and disease as judgment.
하나님의 백성이 그분을 떠났기에, 하나님은 심판으로서 기근과 들짐승, 전쟁과 질병을 보내시겠다고 하셨습니다.
It seems like there is no way to escape from his judgment.
그분의 심판에서 벗어날 길이 전혀 없어 보입니다.
God makes it very clear in verse sixteen
even if these three men Noa Daniel and Job were in it they could save on themselves by their righteousness declares the Lord God.
하나님은 16절에서 분명히 말씀하십니다. “비록 노아, 다니엘, 욥 이 세 사람이 그 가운데 있을지라도, 주 여호와의 말씀이니라, 그들은 자기 의로 자기 생명만 구원하리라.”
If we can think about these three men Noah lived in a very evil time but he obeyed God and built the arc.
이 세 사람을 생각해 보면, 노아는 매우 악한 시대에 살았지만 하나님께 순종하여 방주를 지었습니다.
Daniel lived in Babylon and stayed faithful to God even in a wigged palace.
다니엘은 바벨론에서 살면서, 사악한 궁정 안에서도 하나님께 신실하게 충성했습니다.
Job lost everything but still trusted God.
욥은 모든 것을 잃었지만 여전히 하나님을 신뢰했습니다.
They were great people of faith they loved and obeyed God but even they could not save anyone else not their friends not even their children.
그들은 위대한 믿음의 사람들이었고 하나님을 사랑하며 순종했지만, 그들조차 다른 사람, 친구, 심지어 자녀조차 구할 수 없었습니다.
In verse 2가 says even if Noa Daniel and Job were in it as surely as I leave declares the Lord God
2가절에서는 “비록 노아, 다니엘, 욥이 그 가운데 있을지라도, 주 여호와의 말씀이니라, 내가 살아 있음을 두고 맹세하노니”라고 말씀합니다.
they could save only themselves by their righteousness.
“그들은 자기 의로 자기만 구원하리라.”
If even these amazing people cannot save others who can help the people of Israel it feels hopeless.
이처럼 놀라운 사람들도 다른 이를 구할 수 없다면, 누가 이스라엘 백성을 도울 수 있겠습니까? 참으로 절망적으로 느껴집니다.
It's like the miners stuck underground with no way out by their own strength but we can find hope here in verse 22 that says Yet behold some survivors will be left in it sons and daughters who will be brought out.
이는 마치 자기 힘으로는 나올 길이 없는 채 지하에 갇힌 광부들과 같지만, 22절에서 이렇게 말씀하십니다. “그러나 보라, 그 가운데에 피할 자가 남으리니, 아들과 딸들이 거기에서 끌려나올 것이다.”
God says that some people will escape
하나님은 일부 사람들이 피할 것이라고 말씀하십니다.
God himself will save a few.
하나님께서 친히 몇몇을 구원하실 것입니다.
This shows us something important even when no human can save God is able.
이는 중요한 사실을 보여줍니다. 사람이 아무도 구원할 수 없는 상황에서도, 하나님은 구원하실 수 있다는 것입니다.
What are the things in our world today that people admire?
오늘날 우리가 사는 세상에서 사람들이 존경하고 부러워하는 것은 무엇입니까?
Things that are respected like Noa Daniel and Job were in their time maybe it's a good job a stable income, good health or a successful family.
노아, 다니엘, 욥이 그 시대에 존경받았던 것처럼, 아마도 좋은 직장, 안정적인 수입, 건강, 성공적인 가정일 것입니다.
These are the things that many people already have or are working so hard to achieve and from that perspective of the world they are impressive and admirable.
이것들은 이미 많은 사람들이 가지고 있거나, 열심히 노력하여 얻으려는 것들이며, 세상의 관점에서 보면 인상적이고 존경할 만합니다.
But no matter how great the things we hold in our hands are and no matter how worthy the goals we purse are none of them can lead us to salvation.
그러나 우리가 손에 쥔 것이 아무리 위대해도, 우리가 추구하는 목표가 아무리 가치 있어도, 그것들이 우리를 구원으로 인도할 수는 없습니다.
None of them can change the life direction that we were born into this world and are heading toward death.
그 어떤 것도 우리가 이 세상에 태어나 죽음으로 향하는 인생의 방향을 바꿀 수 없습니다.
Only one person Jesus Christ can lead us beyond death and into a life that is full and eternal.
오직 한 분, 예수 그리스도만이 우리를 죽음을 넘어 충만하고 영원한 생명으로 인도하실 수 있습니다.
In John Chapter 10 verse 10 Jesus says I have come that they may have life and have it to the full. Amen
요한복음 10장 10절에서 예수님은 “내가 온 것은 양으로 생명을 얻게 하고, 더 풍성히 얻게 하려는 것이라”라고 말씀하십니다. 아멘
Jesus does not just change the things we hold in our hands He changes our entire lives.
예수님은 우리가 손에 쥐고 있는 것만 바꾸시는 것이 아니라, 우리의 삶 전체를 바꾸십니다.
We were running after things that are empty, temporary and will eventually disappear but Jesus transforms us so that we can now live for what is most valuable eternal and glorious through the grace of the cross.
우리는 헛되고, 잠시뿐이며, 결국 사라질 것들을 쫓으며 살았지만, 예수님은 우리를 변화시키셔서 십자가의 은혜로 가장 가치 있고, 영원하며, 영광스러운 것을 위해 살게 하십니다.
By giving up his own life Jesus became the way for us to escape death and enter into the everlasting life.
예수님은 자신의 생명을 내어주심으로, 우리가 죽음을 피하고 영생에 들어가는 길이 되셨습니다.
Think about the gift of salvation that is possible because of the righteousness of Jesus.
예수님의 의로 인해 가능해진 구원의 선물을 생각해 보십시오.
How can you express your gratitude for this amazing grace?
이 놀라운 은혜에 대해 당신은 어떻게 감사를 표현하겠습니까?
The Apostle Paul says in Second Korean the 5:15 he died for all so that those who lived should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
사도 바울은 고린도후서 5장 15절에서 “그가 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽으심은, 살아 있는 자들로 하여금 다시는 자신을 위해 살지 않고, 자신을 대신하여 죽었다가 다시 살아나신 이를 위해 살게 하려 함이라”라고 말합니다.
Amen If we truly believe in the grace of salvation and are thankful for it then we should pause and reflect where is my life headed right now?
아멘. 우리가 구원의 은혜를 진실로 믿고 감사한다면, 잠시 멈추어 “지금 내 삶은 어디를 향하고 있는가?”를 돌아보아야 합니다.
How do we do that? Three questions we need to ask ourselves What am I most passionate about in my life?
그렇다면 어떻게 해야 할까요? 우리 자신에게 던져야 할 세 가지 질문이 있습니다. “내 삶에서 내가 가장 열정을 쏟는 것은 무엇인가?”
Where is most of my time being spent?
“내 시간 대부분은 어디에 쓰이고 있는가?”
Where is most of my money going?
“내 재정 대부분은 어디로 흘러가고 있는가?”
When we honestly answer these questions we begin to see the direction our lives are taking and ultimately we can discover who we are really living for.
이 질문들에 정직하게 답할 때, 우리는 내 삶이 어떤 방향으로 가고 있는지 보게 되고, 궁극적으로 내가 누구를 위해 살고 있는지를 발견하게 됩니다.
Today the Bible says there is someone who we are walking with and who we are trying to become more like.
오늘 성경은 우리가 함께 걸으며 점점 더 닮아가야 할 분이 있다고 말합니다.
Jesus died in our place and he did that so we would no longer live for ourselves.
예수님은 우리를 대신하여 죽으셨고, 그 이유는 우리가 더 이상 자신을 위해 살지 않게 하기 위함입니다.
So now let us walk with the one who saved us let us grow to be more like him and let us live for him each day.
그러므로 이제 우리를 구원하신 분과 함께 걸으며, 그분을 더 닮아가고, 매일 그분을 위해 살아갑시다.

기도하겠습니다.
Dear Heavenly Father We thank you for your sending Jesus who can truly save us.
사랑하는 하늘 아버지, 우리를 참으로 구원하실 수 있는 예수님을 보내주신 것에 감사드립니다.
We confess that oftentimes we trust in success, people and something that we can achieve but we know none of them can give us eternal life.
우리는 종종 성공이나 사람, 혹은 우리가 성취할 수 있는 것들을 신뢰했음을 고백합니다. 그러나 그것들이 영생을 줄 수 없다는 것을 압니다.
Only Jesus is the way the truth and the life.
오직 예수님만이 길이요 진리요 생명이십니다.
Please teach us every day to love him more and to follow him more and to be more like him more and more.
매일 예수님을 더 사랑하고, 더 따르고, 더욱 닮아가게 가르쳐 주십시오.
Please help us not to live for ourselves but to live for himself.
우리가 자신을 위해 살지 않고, 그분을 위해 살게 도와주십시오.
